The GEH Farm: A Bumper Harvest in Times of Challenge

Amidst other challenges faced by the community, our GEH Farm continues to be a beacon of hope and a vital resource for self-sustenance. The farm successfully produced a significant yield of essential food products, directly benefiting the over 700 children under our care.

The harvest included a major output of Maize and various Beans (Red, Black, and White), providing the necessary carbohydrates and protein for our daily feeding programs. Furthermore, the farm’s commitment to Income Generating Activities (IGA) through the sale of surplus produce played a crucial role in providing necessary funding for operational needs.

This success reaffirms our commitment to sustainability. The farm is not just a food source; it is a living classroom where children learn practical agricultural skills, cementing the value of self-reliance and hard work for their future.
